Quotations and Pricing
Quotations are prepared based on the information and requirements provided at the time of enquiry.
Prices may vary depending on project complexity, timescales, revisions and additional services requested.
Any changes to an agreed project scope may result in additional charges, which will be communicated before the additional work is undertaken.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, quotations do not include third-party costs such as printing, website hosting, domain registration, advertising expenditure or external subscriptions.
Project Agreements and Payments
Before work begins, the project scope, deliverables, timescales and payment arrangements will be agreed with the client.
A deposit or advance payment may be required before work commences, where specified in the quotation or project agreement.
Invoices must be paid within the payment terms stated on the invoice or agreed in writing.
Where payments are overdue, work may be paused following reasonable notice until outstanding amounts have been settled, subject to applicable law and the agreed contract.
Revisions and Additional Work
Projects may include an agreed number of revisions, as outlined in the quotation or project agreement.
Requests outside the agreed scope, including significant changes to an approved design or additional deliverables, may be subject to additional charges.
Any additional costs will be discussed and agreed before the work is carried out.
Project Timescales
Estimated project timescales will be discussed before work begins.
Completion dates may depend on the timely provision of information, content, feedback and approvals from the client.
Where delays occur due to circumstances outside the reasonable control of Grindall Design, revised timescales will be communicated as appropriate.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, suitable content and any materials necessary to complete the agreed project.
Clients must ensure that any text, photographs, logos or other materials supplied for use in a project can lawfully be used for the intended purpose.
Clients are also responsible for reviewing and approving final content, designs and other deliverables before publication, printing or production.
Intellectual Property and Copyright
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, original creative work produced by Grindall Design remains the intellectual property of its creator until the agreed payment and ownership or licensing conditions have been satisfied.
The ownership and permitted use of final designs, branding materials, website elements and other deliverables will be determined by the individual project agreement.
Preliminary concepts, unused designs, working files and development materials are not automatically included in the final deliverables.
Third-party materials, including fonts, stock photography, software and licensed assets, remain subject to their respective licence terms.
Portfolio and Projects
Grindall Design may wish to showcase completed projects through its website, portfolio or professional marketing channels.
Where a project involves confidential information, unpublished work or other restrictions, permission will be sought before the relevant materials are shared.
Any specific portfolio usage arrangements may also be agreed as part of an individual project contract.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation arrangements will depend on the nature of the project, the work completed and the terms agreed before work begins.
Where a project is cancelled, charges may apply for work already completed and any reasonable, non-recoverable costs incurred.
Any refunds will be assessed in accordance with the agreed contract and applicable consumer protection law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Third-Party Services
Some projects may involve third-party services, including website hosting, domain registration, printing, advertising platforms, software subscriptions or external suppliers.
These services may be subject to separate terms, pricing and policies established by their respective providers.
